About River View Public School

River View is located close to the beautiful Niagara Parkway and Niagara River in historic Chippawa. Our most famous graduate, James Cameron, is a world renowned movie director. The school celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2009.

The staff at River View is eager to meet the individual needs of every student. Our students are actively involved in high yield learning strategies in Literacy and Numeracy. Students build on their experiences, use higher order thinking skills, and are gradually led toward independence in their learning.

The Chippawa community is an integral part of life at River View. Volunteers assist in many ways that benefit our students. Volunteers help in initiatives such as the Rocket Reading Program and fund raising.
